Torn world part 1

Altogether, it took no more than sixty minutes. No one knows how it happened. Was it a computer virus? A terrorist hacker? A human error? Or something even more sinister. No one knows. All they know is the facts. At exactly 12:00am on the 15th of June in the year 2011, all the worlds remaining nuclear missiles launched and every nuclear power station exploded. The missiles struck the worlds largest cities and the power stations destroyed everything nearby. The world was devastated and more then 60% was turned into a barren wasteland. From the resulting carnage, two opposing factions rose from the ashes.

Before the devastation, or the “hour of death” as it became known, Foreseer industries were the worlds leading biological and technological weapons development companies. Their leader, a ruthless warlord known only as the Overlord, somehow foresaw the coming destruction and fled underground, taking with him his most trusted friends and soldiers and the greatest minds in the company. In the aftermath of the hour of death, the Foreseers have only one objective, to rebuild the world under complete Foreseer control. And they will succeed, if they overcome the one obstacle, the Scavengers.

The Scavengers are the remaining free people of the world. The survivors of the hour of death who came together. They formed towns, cities, and communities using only their bare hands and the scrap and debris that remains of the ancient, shattered world. The Foreseers will take over everything unless the scavengers stop them.

Only one faction will survive the war of the torn world.
