Sonics monster hunters part 2

Sonic woke up. As he turned over he realized that Amy wasn’t with him. As he jumped out of the bed he smelt something delicious cooking downstairs. As he went downstairs he found Amy cooking him breakfast again. She appeared to have made a full recovery.

Sonic: you should be resting.
Amy: I know. But I felt like I had to repay you for saving me.
Sonic: well you don’t.
Amy: oh well. I’m going to anyway. It should be ready soon. Can you go into the market and fetch me some more wood please.
Sonic: ok.

He went out into the market and got the wood. He also got her some flowers. When we went back he gave her the wood and flowers. After he had given them to her he sat down in the end chair. As he looked around the rabbit sitting next to him barely registered. When he realized she was there he nearly jumped off his seat. When he had calmed down he gave her a hug.

Sonic: hi cream.
Cream: hi sonic.
Sonic: how come you’re here?
Cream: me and ice were passing though and we remembered you guys lived here. So we thought we’d stop by for a while. Maybe share some adventures.
Sonic: alright. But where is ice?

As he finished ice came in covered in cuts and bite marks.

Sonic: what happened to you?
Ice: I was out gathering food when a kut-ku attacked me. I only got away because his attention was taken by a group of ioprey and an iodrome.
He pulled a rifle off his back.
Ice: and this thing ran out of ammo.
Sonic: you two get some rest. I’ll get some ammo and then we’ll see about this kut-ku. Amy are you sure you want to go. These things aren’t known to go easy on anything.
Amy: course I’m sure.
Sonic: then tomorrow we hunt it. For now though we need to prepare.

NEXT DAY

The 4 of them stood out in the jungle clearing near a waterfall. Amy had helped look after ice with some healing potion and it was like it never happened. Soon they heard a flapping sound and the kut-ku descended on them. It looked like a lizard except it was huge in size, had a pair of webbed wings and stood on 2 legs. They drew their weapons. Ice loaded his rifle and cream drew a pair of small blades. As she attacked it looked more like she was dancing rather than fighting. Ice kept firing but I seemed the thing knew when he was going to fire and it kept dodging. Soon the group started to tire and the kut-ku started to gain an advantage. Soon it had cream pinned beneath one foot and ice was lying against a tree after taking a blow from the tail. Then Amy charged at it with her hammer. It hit her with its wing and sent her flying off the edge of the waterfall. Sonic saw this but before he could help the kut-ku jumped in front of him causing him to drop his weapon. He looked around for it but all he could find was ices still loaded rifle. He picked it up. As he did so his arm started to shake and then it became covered in electricity. He pointed at the kut-ku and fired. As it entered the sky seemed to instantly fill with fury. The kut-ku was struck with a lighting bolt killing it. As sonic returned to normal he heard Amy cry for help. As he leant over the edge he saw her hanging onto a branch. He reached out for her but the branch snapped and Amy fell into the water below. Sonic was about to jump after her when he felt cream and ice grab.

Ice: sonic don’t do it. You won’t save her by risking your own life down there.
Sonic: let go.
Ice: sonic I don’t want to do this but oh well.
He picked his rifle and hit sonic across the head with it knocking him out.
Ice: come on. Let’s get him back home, check I haven’t done any long term damage and go find Amy ourselves.
Cream: but what if sonic wakes up before we get home.
Ice: then we check if he understands. If so he’ll come with us. If not we tie him to his bed. Anything to stop him doing something stupid or reckless.

Together they started to drag him back.
